On 25 January, 2018 the gala concert dedicated to the Students’ Day was organized at MGGEU.
The event was opened by MGGEU Rector Vagif Bayramov, featuring Oleg Smolin, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vice-chairman of the Education Committee, the Chairman of guardianship Council of MGGEU and Irina Romanova, Deputy Director of the Department for children rights’ protection state policy.
The concert was followed by a musical performance “Scarlet Sails” based on Alexander Green’s writing with the wheelchair-using students, winners of all-Russia and International contests and competitions as actors.
The special guests awarded the students for their academic performance and active participation in the university life.
Graduates Lyudmila Vasilyeva and Anna Duryagina performed Lara Fabian’s and Anna Herman’s songs. By tradition, all the guests were treated to mead.
The concert ended with kind wishes and valediction to the students.
