Social-Psychological Training “Socializing Is Easy!” at MGGEU

The course of psychological training “Socializing is easy!” is aimed at promoting social skills of MGGEU students through coaching and communication skills training. On March, 20 the first training class of this course was held at the MGGEU assembly hall. The main topic of these sessions is communication skills as an art of effective, unstrained and auspicious interaction which results in achieving one’s goals, making friends and maintaining business relationships.
The psychological training classes are conducted by the Social-Psychological Careers Guidance department psychologist Maria Medvedeva and coordinated by the head of this department PhD in Psychology, psychologist Maria Tsygankova. MGGEU Student Board members are also taking an active part in organizing the events. Every training class of this course is conducted in an inclusive environment available to any student of the University.

The participants are provided with special exercises that are directed towards overcoming barriers to communication, learning to understand one another, developing the skill of finding mutual interests and the art of self-cognition. The classes are hosted in an affectionate, positive and friendly environment and as the result the students experience a multitude of positive emotions and express willingness to attend the training on a regular basis.

Though the audience of this training course is diverse, every student acquires invaluable experience, gains knowledge and learns new skills. Shy students learn how to conduct and maintain communication with other people, find common ground, arouse sympathy and develop a healthy relationship. Those students who are already sociable and communicative have a great opportunity to develop their leadership skills to their full extent by attending these sessions.
Social-Psychological Careers Guidance Department of MGGEU conducts training classes on a weekly basis; they meet each Tuesday at 7 p.m. The relevant information can be acquired from the Information board. New participants are welcomed to join our course as well as people who have attended the first class of this training. You will be provided with the new effective techniques which will help you achieve the true mastery of communication.
