Within the framework of the official trip to the Republic of Kalmykia, MGGEU Rector, Doctor of Sociology Vagif Bayramov participated in the opening of the regional academic training conference “Status and Prospects of the Inclusive Education Development in the Republic of Kalmykia”, hosted by Kalmyk MGGEU Campus on January, 31.
Vagif Bayramov had working meetings with the Kalmykian Authorities where issues of cooperation broadening in the field of education for disabled people including creation of inclusive education development resource center based in Kalmyk MGGEU Campus were discussed.
The conference aims at bringing into action consolidated efforts from professional and parental communities, non-governmental organizations and public authorities in the sphere of inclusive practices.
The conference gathered directors and members of various inclusive educational organizations, psycho-pedagogical, medical and social support centers, Medico-psycho-pedagogical Centre (CMPP); students and teaching staff from secondary and higher educational institutions; researchers in the field of inclusive education; public educational authorities; members of non-governmental organizations, parents, and mass media.
