Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Russia-Azerbaijan Cooperation in Education, Science and Culture Prospects»

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Status and Prospects of Russian-Azerbaijani Cooperation in the Sphere of Education, Science and Culture” was held in Baku on November 28, 2016.  The university staff members, headed by Vagif Deyrushevich Bayramov, Rector of MGGEU, took an active part in this conference.

Mikail Chingiz oglu Jabbarov, Minister of Education of the Azerbaijani Republic, solemnly opened the Conference. Olga Vasilyeva, Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, addressed the guests with a welcome greeting.

On the first day of the conference there was a meeting of rectors of the universities-participants of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The program included a round table discussion “Inclusive Education: Implementation and Development Prospects”, moderated by the representatives of Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics.  The rector of Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics V.D. Bayramov started a round table discussion, highlighting the importance of inclusive education and presenting the main activities of our university. The reports on inclusion were made by N.A. Orekhovskaya, Head of the Department for the Organization of Scientific Research and International Activities, and E.V. Voevodina, Head of the Department of Sociology. At the end of the meeting, the participants exchanged impressions, V.D. Bayramov answered in detail the questions and marked the development trends of not only inclusive education in our university, but of the university as a whole.
