All-Russian Inclusive Event “Museum for Everyone 2018”

On December 2, the all-Russian inclusive campaign was held in numerous museums across the country that arranged activities for visitors with disabilities, members of their families and anyone else who is willing to attend such events. This campaign was aimed at calling attention to the issue of peoples’ equal involvement into the cultural life of a society.

MMGEU inclusive volunteers took active part in this campaign working at the Museum of the Great Patriotic War located at Moscow‘s Poklonnaya Hill.

Within the framework of the ” Victory’s Workshop” the inclusive volunteers held sessions on painting on wood, making angelic dolls and origami and also helped the attendees to navigate the museum.

During this event our volunteers attended the presentation of “Skies! Will! We!” project that was showcased by the members of the Russian Sports Union of Disabled People. The listeners were told about the people with disabilities who participated in the air sports and about ground training and parachute jumping exercises. At the end of the event the volunteers participated in the excursion “The Life of the Museum. Composite pictures” that left an indelible impression of the heroic deeds demonstrated by the Great Patriotic War veterans.
